Enjoy Private Dining Next to the 1880 Mosler Safe in the Bank Vault
Pull up a chair, partner, and take a look around. The walls here have stood through more campfire tales than most folks could count. The bones of this building go all the way back to 1863, when Kirkland was just beginning to find its boots. The “1923” on the front? Those numbers mark the year we rose from the ashes after a little ahem… fiery disagreement involving the local ladies of the night in 1922. Don’t worry — these days the only thing spicy around here is the nacho platter.
Welcome To Kirkland’s… Where History Still Rides With Us!
Just across the road, Virgil Earp once owned the land, keeping a sharp eye on Kirkland’s comings and goings. Legend says the Earp brothers stashed their winnings in the old Wells Fargo bank vault hidden right here behind our stage — locked tight inside that massive 1880 Mosler safe you can still spot if you know where to look. Whether it’s fact or frontier fiction depends on who’s telling it (and how many rounds they’ve had).
And if the sun sets just right, you might feel a chill that isn’t from the desert breeze. Folks around here say Mary still wanders the old hotel and brothel, her door tucked right off the saloon floor. She’s our permanent guest, friendly enough — just don’t move her chair. Down below, the stacked-stone basement holds its own brand of spirits, both ghostly and bottled, and it’s said they like a good time as much as the living do.
If these walls could talk… they’d order another round.
Now, under new ownership, Kirkland’s is writing a new chapter — one built on the same grit, welcome, and laughter that’s defined this place for more than a century. Our goal’s simple: when you walk through our doors, you’re not just a guest — you’re family. The steakhouse kitchen is getting a full renovation and will be back in sizzling style later in 2026.

Concerts and Festivals
Turn up the volume and turn your show into a destination weekend. Our Arena & Event Center has room for stages, vendors, and crowds, backed by a full saloon pouring drinks, a restaurant serving crowd‑pleasing favorites, a mercantile stocked with local goods, and an onsite hotel so nobody has to hit the road early. Fans can spend the day at the festival, then migrate to the bar, grab dinner, shop a little, and walk back to their rooms when the last encore fades.
Farmer’s Markets and Events
Kirkland’s is the perfect home base for farmers markets, craft fairs, swap meets, and community events—because it’s more than just open space. Vendors and visitors get the bonus of a welcoming saloon, a restaurant for sit‑down meals, a mercantile full of local and Western finds, and a hotel that turns a simple market into a mini getaway. Set up your booths, enjoy the built‑in foot traffic from guests on property, and let Kirkland’s do what it does best: keep folks around longer, spending time, money, and memories at your event.
Just Authentic…
Tucked away in the old bank vault, we uncovered original player-piano scrolls that once kept Kirkland’s toes tapping. They’re a reminder that long before playlists, this town was already dancing to its own soundtrack.
